Two days of trying to assemble a table and it's still not up. According to the ikea guide it says a screwdriver is just enough. I've not only used a screwdriver, i've also hammered it in. And now i can't even get a single table leg into the wood. Someone refuses to lend me his power drill cos he says, "it's too powerful for wood" and it's "only for brick" Hello? That's what i need. If to pierce through wood is so easy, then why in the world do people use a chainsaw to cut down trees? They must as well use a butter knife. I've rammed the screwdriver into the wood and there's not a single scratchmark.
The pre-drilled holes are so tiny. Ikea's quality control is getting too slack. Shame on you ikea, for charging such a high price, for printing such an un-userfriendly manual, for having such expensive delivery costs, and for giving me such a crap table. I'm not only an unsatisfied customer, but an unhappy one as well.
