I'm really not looking forward to my nineteenth birthday much. It's gonna be a day of tutorials, assignment work and test. It just reminds me that I've got one less year to do what God wants me to do. It just goes to show how precious time is.
Last year someone said to me
Her: You're still a teen
Me: No i'm not, i'm eighteen
Her: Thats why, you're
eighteen-______-
I don't want to act my age. Never want to. I'll be nineteen soon but i want to have a maturity expected of a 30 year old at least. Maturity comes with the acceptance of responsibility so i really got to improve. Pastor said that when we're 19, we should be able to carry and present ourselves before prime ministers and kings, just like Daniel and Joseph. Immature people never do great things in life. I believe a young person can carry the presence, anointing of God and be filled with so much wisdom and authority that God will be so glorified. Do not say you're just a youth. You're destined to do so much more at this young age than what society says is the norm.
When i was young i dreamt of being a policeman and a pilot. But then i realised that joining the police force doesn't bring the pay i want in the long run, my life will be at risk everyday and when i'm at the retirement age i'm out of a job. Then i also realised that being a pilot, i'll be away from my family most of the time which is not good.
What about now? What do i dream? Some things that came to my mind, God-willing

Member of Parliament
Flooding the less-fortunate in Indonesia and China with humanitarian aid
Job creation
It all seems so far-fetched and sometimes unreachable. But God gives us dreams for a reason. If He has other plans then let it be done. His ways and thoughts are always so much higher than mine.
