i think through these two and a half years, one of the things i've learnt is to think through before i talk instead of what i used to do: talking a lot before really thinking things through. i guess it's because a lot has happenned and i've got plenty of time to think about a lot of things, people and problems. and there's not many people to talk to over here. my support base over here is much smaller than back home. thank God for all my friends in s'pore and here.
but on the other hand, there are people in church who don't have a support base. people who don't have friends readily available to turn to, to run to in times of trouble. those who get everything but a stream of encouragement and edification. it's about time we watch out for them.

actually come to think of it, the circle of people i can turn to and seriously talk to is getting smaller and smaller. one by one, people are out. not because of them leaving but cos of what's happenning in their lives. i know i'm being quite vague in this but this is the best way i can put it. life is funny.
