I watched emerge session 4 (service) just now. It was good! Preach it pastor kong! This is a message i need to hear. The life of Daniel is so inspiring. It's a message i seriously feel some people need to hear too. I'm like my brother.. We both have something against fakeness and a religious attitude (not saying people have it) but it's quite interesting. People really need to be authentic. That's what God wants. It's all so in season. What pastor yock kiang prophesied at the start was so true. God will finish the work He started in us. Before that i was thinking.. God is a God of a second chance. No doubt about that. Society isn't. Society doesn't trust those who fail. Then i was looking at my results. It's not exactly a high distiction average or close. So will i be able to get a good job and subsequently impact the marketplace since many large banks and top firms require solid academic results. Then i was reminded that God is over society and it is He who brings people up and pulls people down. And as what pastor said, God will finish the work He started in us. I just love it when a service goes on for 4 and a half hours.. So cool! It's almost as long as an overnight prayer meeting. i just love praying overnight.. There's nothing more spiritual about it but it's a time where you get to fight against the flesh and stay awake and pray. It's like fasting. You sacrifice your sleep to pray. I think i should go sleep now. Cannot sacrifice my sleep to blog. It's not worth it. Goodnight!
