Hillsong Conference has been unbelievable so far. There's no better word to describe it. So amazing. Best conference I've ever attended in my life. Messages were life-changing.
It's just a pity that some politicians would come to advance their own agenda. But still, it shows that Hillsong can't really be ignored in Australia. Largest conference in Australia. Largest church in Australia. There was the federal treasurer Peter Costello, federal foreign minister Alexander Downer, other federal and state government ministers, the Premier of New South Wales Bob Carr, loads of Members of the state and federal parliaments, Senators and the Labor party's chief-whip to stand in for the party leader.
Now the good problem to have: Where does the conference go next year? Australia's largest indoor stadium is filled to the max a few times a day. 45k people at the conference this year and no doubt next year will be more. It can't be held outdoors because it's winter.
Cool problem.
